HP has today announced a new range of solutions as part of its Information Optimisation portfolio.
Among the new offerings, the vendor has released the HP New Generation Information Platform – IDOL 10, the new HP Autonomy Appliances (powered by IDOL 10 and allowing companies to extract metadata from different data types and sources), the HP Social Intelligence Solution and the Advanced Information Services for Vertica, which analyses structured, semi-structured and unstructured data to gain critical business insights.
The company has also announced the new HP B6200 StoreOnce Backup System, which it claims to be the industry’s fastest large-scale deduplication appliance at 28TB per hour. The HP X5000 G2 Network Storage System, aimed at SMBs, was also announced today. Still within its converged storage offerings, the vendor has released the HP Data Protector software.

The HP Information Optimisation suite of solutions is part of the Instant-On Enteprise.
