Movers and shakers: Jon Cumming is now chief digital officer at ACT Government

CSG acquires CodeBlue

Jon Cumming is now the chief digital officer of the ACT Government based in Canberra, Australia.

Before this, he was the CIO for the Department of Corrections for nearly seven years. His deputy at Corrections, Murray Thompson, is acting CIO.

Thompson joined Corrections from ANZ Bank, where he was implementation manager of the NZ Simplification Project. The project brought together ANZ and The National Banks in 2012.

Sascha Feth is now head of service delivery management at New Zealand Racing Board stepping up from his previous role as head of vendor services.

His previous roles at the NZ Racing Board included head of service operations and IT infrastructure manager.

CSG acquires CodeBlue

CSG has signed an agreement to acquire CodeBlue for NZ$5 million cash, and an additional NZ$2.7 million in contingent cash payments and further earn out considerations capped at a total acquisition sum of NZ$15 million.

“By becoming part of CSG, CodeBlue will be even better positioned to execute on its vision of providing enterprise-strength nationwide IT service and support to companies with up to around 300 seats,” says CodeBlue CEO Chris Mackay.

CodeBlue was founded in 2004 by current executive director Ken Davis, later joined by Mackay, a former CEO of Computerland. It has over 160 staff and nine branches around the country.

CSG is a publicly listed technology as a service organisation providing managed technology, print and cloud products. It has offices in New Zealand and Australia, and a national service network supporting more than 15,000 customers across the Tasman.

“Customers will be able to source multiple products and solutions from one partner, with one simple monthly bill and get access to the latest state-of-the-art technologies for minimal capital outlay,” says CSG CEO Julie-Ann Kerin
