Holmes swaps Gen-i for Optimation

By Reseller News Staff | Wednesday, September 24 2008

Replaces former CEO Neil Butler, who remains in strategic role on the Board of Directors.

Services provider Optimation has appointed former Gen-i Australia general manager Rhoda Holmes as its chief executive officer.

Holmes left Gen-i at the end of July following a restructure which saw Chris Quin become trans-Tasman CEO for the integrator, rather than just the head of its New Zealand operations.

Prior to Gen-i, she has been the general manager of customer and network services for AAPT, the general manager of network investment for Telecom New Zealand, and worked at British Telecom. She holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications Management from University College, London.

Optimation’s former chief executive Neil Butler said in June he was stepping down from the role and would focus on strategy. He is still on the Board of Directors.
