By CIO New Zealand staff | Monday, December 14 2009

CIOs across a broad reach of industries have joined the advisory council for the 2010 conference.

Fourteen CIOs across a broad reach of industries have joined the advisory council for the CIO Summit 2010.

The group will help draft the agenda for the CIO Summit, New Zealand’s premium event for ICT leaders, to be held July 20 and 21 at SkyCity Convention centre.

The 2010 advisory council is composed of: Andrew Cammell, Chapman Tripp; Alan Hesketh, Ministry of Health; Ashley Mudford, New Zealand Food Safety Authority; Channa Jayasinha, Ministry of Fisheries; David Spaziani, Department of Internal Affairs; Julia Raue, Air New Zealand; Mike Foley, Watercare; Miles Fordyce, University of Auckland; Owen McCall, Warehouse; Peter McDowall, St. John; Robin Johansen, Beca Group; Russell Jones, ASB; Tanya Harris, Reserve Bank of New Zealand; and Mike Clarke, SkyCity.

“The CIO council carries a spread of knowledge and experience, and their willingness to work together is the main driver for the development of the programme for the CIO Summit,” says Peter Macaulay, principal, end user practice at IDC NZ and conference chairperson.

The CIO Summit is organised by CIO magazine, IDC and conference company BrightStar. The two-day programme features international and local CIO speakers, and will include panel discussions on key business and technology issues ICT leaders are facing.

More than 350 ICT executives attended the 2009 event. For updates on the 2010 event, please go to cio.co.nz/ciosummit.
