Axon is one of New Zealand’s largest privately-owned providers of ICT services, with offices in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch. The company motto is “Next Generation ICT made easy” and Axon focuses on delivering on-premises as well as cloud-based solutions.

Among its claims to fame is launching New Zealand’s first online procurement system in 1996, Axonline. The system has since seen a $1 million rewrite, and services more than 100 corporate customers. Other key projects include a partnership with Enlighten Designs that saw the education institute Te Wananga o Aotearoa engage the two companies in a large and complex three-year Strategic Performance Data initiative.

Being a Microsoft partner, Axon is presently deep into a company-wide rollout of Windows 7 and Altiris 7, to be prepared for customer deployment.

Axon scored four wins in the 2009 Microsoft Partners Awards, in the Business Productivity, Unified Communications, Deployment Partner of the Year, Partnering Award and Solutions Star of the Year.
