Revera was formed after a management buyout in 2005 of Hitachi Data Systems by founders Wayne Norrie and Roger Cockayne, with the company specialising in hosting and datacentre services.

In four years the company has grown to become a Microsoft Gold Partner and is also working with HP, Fronde and Pay Global to provide solutions that are transparent, secure and with guaranteed service levels for customers.

Data storage and disaster recovery remains a mainstay of Revera’s business, together with professional services. It is also driving slimmed-down datacentres, through the use of modern design and technology.

This year, the company has announced several cloud computing initiatives, along with SaaS initiatives, with Complete Solutions. The company also won the contract to outsource travel agent House of Travel’s server workload.

This year also saw a key executive appointment as the former general manager of HP’s Imaging and Printing Group, Andrew Seerden, joined Revera.
