Judges
Julie Mills, Business Manager and Board Adviser, ITCRA
Julie is currently the Business Manager and Board Adviser for ITCRA and prior to taking this role in May 2010 she was the CEO of the RCSA (Recruitment & Consulting Services Association Ltd) and remaginet. Before that Julie had leadership roles with the Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce and the Science Teachers' Association. She was recently made an Honorary Life Member of RCSA for her contribution to the Association and the industry.
Julie has held positions on the Deputy Prime Minister's Business Advisory Group (Federal), the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Committee (Occupational Health & Safety Working Group); the Privacy Commissioner's Prinet Group and the Mature Age Taskforce (Federal). She is currently a member of the Deakin University's Chancellors RoundTable and is active on various Committees for EEO, Disability and Workforce programs.
Brett O'Riley, CEO, NZICT Group
Brett O'Riley is CEO NZICT Group, representing the supply side of the industry. He is passionate about the opportunity for ICT to transform New Zealand, while acknowledging the scale of many of the challenges to be addressed, and the need for a cohesive pan industry approach. Brett has over 20 years of experience in the ICT industry, working in New Zealand, Australia, Asia and the USA.
Judy Speight, Executive Director, Accelerating Auckland
With a passion for the role of digital capability as an agent for transformation, Judith works across the public and private sectors as a catalyst, strategist and advisor.
Current roles include councillor for InternetNZ and NACCQ, a director of ITT WRKZ Limited and trustee for Carers New Zealand. At an operational level Judith leads Accelerating Aotearoa, a charitable organisation that works with
communities, government, education providers and the private sector to build New Zealand's competitiveness by improving the digital skills and abilities of New Zealanders.
Historical roles include membership of the Prime Minister's Y2K Task Force, Minister for Communication's Electronic Commerce Action Team, Government's Broadband Forum & New Zealand's APEC TEL delegation, Chairman of the Telecommunications Users Association (TUANZ), Director of Internet NZ's Executive Board & Trustee for the e-regions Trust.
