Nick Olson has resigned as Telecom CFO to take the same role at Fletcher Building. In a press statement, Telecom CEO Simon Moutter says Olson will leave the company at the end of a three-month notice period. Before his departure, Olson will manage Telecom’s interim financial results for the six months ending 31 December.
The statement quoted Moutter as saying Olson played a vital contribution as he helped navigate the company through the "complex and challenging process of separating Telecom and Chorus".
Telecom says it will recruit a new CFO in early 2013.
Olson has been with Telecom for 11 years, and has been CFO for the past two years.
