Amy Adams is new ICT Minister

Former backbencher picks up ICT and internal affairs portfolios

Former National back bench MP Amy Adams has been appointed as ICT Minister as Prime Minister John Key announced his new government line up this morning. Adams has also become Internal Affairs Minister and Associate Minister for the Canterbury earthquake recovery.

Former ICT Minister Steven Joyce has picked up the economic development, science and innovation, tertiary education and associate finance portfolios.

Adams is the MP for the Selwyn electorate, and worked in the Christchurch lawfirm Mortlock McCormack before running as the National party candidate for Selwyn in 2008.
