Former Dimension Data principal consultant Anthony Hafoka will head Optimation’s newly established national IT consulting practice, the company has announced.
Hafoka has been appointed to the role of manager of consulting and the national practice he will lead will consolidate on consulting work delivered to date in areas like SOA, Oracle middleware integration, and mobile application deployment across multiple platforms.
The practice will also focus on the delivery of enhanced consulting services to clients who are faced with continuing pressure to deliver in a cost effective manner and to strategically leverage technology investments. Key areas include cloud migration and integration, and ERP implementation.
“Optimation is a New Zealand organisation with a proud history of delivering value to clients and it has an exciting future,” says Hafoka. “The establishment of a national consulting practice will better enable the delivery of consulting services that build on the company’s strengths in software development, architecture, and application integration. My background in software development and consulting is a great fit for the current service offerings and future growth plans.”
Hafoka’s CV includes work at KPMG, HP and PricewarehouseCoopers.
“We are pleased to be able to appoint someone of Anthony’s calibre and experience in this role as we continue to mature our consulting offerings. Over the years, we’ve worked with clients such as Transpower, Air New Zealand, Vero, NZ Post and the Department of Corrections a variety of strategic and technical consulting projects. With Anthony on board, we are well-positioned to extend both the range of consulting services we deliver and our footprint within client organisations,” says Optimation’s executive chairman Neil Butler.
