Microsoft appointes new Enterprise and Partner Group director

Jordy Almgren's responsibilities include enterprise cloud services and professional services.

Microsoft New Zealand has appointed Jordy Almgren as Enterprise and Partner Group (EPG). He will be responsible for a range of areas within the enterprise account segment, including product, cloud services and professional services, Microsoft said in a press statement.

Almgren has been with Microsoft for nine years and his previous roles included account manager in the Midwest district and EPG director for the Northeast region in the US, managing healthcare and life sciences accounts.

Prior to Microsoft, he held various sales leadership roles mainly in the healthcare technology sector. In 2009, he moved to Singapore to become Asia Pacific Director, EPG Sales Operations.

Jordy has a BA from Indiana University and has completed post graduate studies in business administration at the University of New Hampshire.
