Andrew Kirker has been appointed APC’s Pacific sales director for the ANZ region. Kirker, who was APC’s NZ country manager for the past six years, will now be responsible for driving the company’s growth strategy in Australia and New Zealand. “APC is a very solid business and is one of the leaders in critical power and cooling in ANZ. The next couple of years promise to be filled with growth opportunities as demand for data centre capacity increases,” says Kirker. “I look forward to using my experience from working in both markets to expand APC’s product, service and software offerings to the data centre, critical power and critical cooling industry.”
The new sales director has more than 15 years’ experience in senior sales and engineering roles across the ANZ region and has spent 10 of those years with APC.
The company has also appointed Simon Smith as regional manager for New Zealand and the South Pacific and Neil McKinnon as the company’s new NSW branch manager.
