HP reshuffles regional team

Company makes three new appointments, including one newly created role

HP has announced the appointment of David Caspari as the new vice president of enterprise services for HP Asia Pacific and Japan.

Reporting to Tom Iannotti, senior VP and general manager of HP enterprise services, Caspari will be responsible for growing the HP’s services portfolio business across the region.

Caspari was previously VP for HP enterprise services in the South Pacific and, prior to that, he was the company’s VP for sales, within the enterprise business. Before joining HP, Caspari held roles at Cisco, Nortel, Bay Networks and Alcatel.

“Our South Pacific business enjoyed very strong growth due to a passion for client success,” says Caspari. “I am confident with an exceptional team, we will help our customers in Asia Pacific and Japan to transform their businesses through technology.”

Alan Bennett has taken over Caspari’s role as VP for enterprise services in the South Pacific and will be responsible for business growth in the core areas of infrastructure services, business process outsourcing and application solutions across the South Pacific region, including Australia and New Zealand.

The company has also announced the appointment of Archie Reed as chief Technology Officer, enterprise services, South Pacific. This is a newly created role that will see Sydney-based Reed leading HP’s cloud computing strategy in the South Pacific region. He will also maintain is current role as global chief technologist – Cloud Security for HP’s enterprise business.
