As is typical of all ICT investment for , proven benefit and ROI are carefully examined when adopting new technologies or services. ICT is recognised as an enabler of the business and education goals of the University.
More than 22,000 students are enrolled at , studying across the four Wellington-based campuses. Multiple projects are planned for 2011, including work and investment in disaster recovery, business intelligence, wireless, FMIS, knowledge management, VoIP, unified communications and virtualisation.
An exciting development in datacentre earthquake protection is currently under development at Victoria, with hopes that a prototype will be available by the end of 2011.
