Oxygen takes SAP to cloud

First for region, company says

Specialist consulting and services company Oxygen Business Solutions has launched a fully hosted cloud solution for SAP services, the company announced.

The company claims that Oxygen on Demand is the first full service cloud solution for Sap Business ERP, Business One and Business All-in-One solutions, with hosting, from a specialist SAP services provider in the APAC region. “There are other SAP cloud offerings available,” says Oxygen managing director Mike T. Smith in the statement. “But this is the first to offer a seamless blend of infrastructure and specialist SAP support services with integrated management of...applications and database. It’s the first ‘soup to nuts’ cloud offering from an SAP specialist.” Oxygen launched the service in response to customer demand for hosting and finance, for shifting costs from Capex to Opex by moving infrastructure and applications into the cloud, according to the statement. The company says that Oxygen on Demand is available immediately and its services will extend to non-SAP applications in order to help customers migrate applications other than SAP.
