A significant area of innovation for Kordia expected to drive information and communications technology over the coming year, is its Ethernet-managed WAN solution, according to GM of strategic development, Susie Stone.
The next 12 months will see a list of new features added to OnKor, Kordia’s fully managed IP network solution.
“These will be extremely powerful for businesses, helping to both improve their efficiency and reduce cost,” says Stone. “An example, available now, is the delivery of voice over the network, as just another application our customers can manage over their data network.”
Kordia has recently partnered with ICT services firm Datacom to open its WAN network to the wider New Zealand corporate and enterprise markets. As such, it has developed several related products specifically for the clients of systems integrators who provide WAN and cloud services. Datacom will act as a wholesale channel partner, and will follow on from successful deals already won in the past year, such as with the Greater Wellington Regional Council.
