With revenues of $1.5 billion and 3300 clients across the ANZ region, Gen-i has achieved strong growth locally in XT mobile, IT services and within Australia, finishing its fiscal year with a record fourth quarter of $638m in contracts signed (compared to $446 million in Q4 FY09).

Gen-i continues to grow its XT mobile business with corporate clients, achieving 12 percent revenue growth and six percent growth in mobile connections over the fourth quarter of 2009. Over the next fiscal year, it is investing in the process, structural and cultural changes needed to simplify the business, reduce costs and deliver sustainable growth, whilst focusing on mobile and cloud services, as well as growth in Australia. During Q4, Gen-i was voted the most preferred vendor by 76 percent of clients (as measured by market research firmTNS Conversa), while the local TUANZ Innovation Awards in September saw Gen-i take home both the Healthcare and Rural awards, with CEO Chris Quin receiving the Chairman’s award.
