WhereScape’s data warehousing software product, WhereScape RED, is used globally by thousands of developers in hundreds of organisations, with the majority of the company’s customers offshore. The US represents the largest market for the organisation, which was founded in Auckland by CEO Michael Whitehead.
Information Management magazine recently named WhereScape as a “Vendor to Watch” for 2010, based on the company’s ability to let organisation’s pick their database of choice and then speed their time to value with prototyping, automation and a lifecycle model that allows for changing BI needs.
“The key point here is time to value,” says Whitehead. “In a tight market with shrinking budgets, WhereScape RED enables organisations to build faster and get to value quicker. Add to that WhereScape RED’s ability to cater for change and we have a powerful software offering that is changing the way data warehouses are being built.”
