Datacom owns and manages seven state of the art datacentres across New Zealand and Australia, including the newly opened Christchurch datacentre that opened just a week after the September earthquake. Datacom expects continued growth particularly with its IT Management division, in particular, will be fuelled by further expansion of its datacentre, cloud and network related businesses.
While 2010 saw many customers using their new cloud platform in New Zealand, there has been no evidence of slowdown in the traditional areas of managed services, outsourcing and general IT-related consulting and projects. Customers continue to seek systems that grow revenue and reduced costs for their businesses.
Datacom was recognised this year through top industry awards in both New Zealand and Australia, including the 2010 Hi-Tech NZ Company of the Year and Best IT Services Firm under $500m at the BRW Client Choice 2010 Awards.
