Aside from having to deal with Tiger Woods’ public relations nightmare, IT services giant Accenture has prospered lately, benefiting from large organisations looking to trim costs and improve efficiency. BP cut ties with 35 application development providers and signed US$2.3 billion worth of deals to outsource to a group of firms, including Accenture. Electrolux has also signed a deal for application development and management with Accenture.
The company has been busy forming partnerships with other vendors, too. It teamed up with analytics specialist SAS to develop, implement and manage predictive analytics solutions.
Microsoft and Accenture launched a set of integration services to help retail businesses build and run co-ordinated digital marketing campaigns. The integration service is called Style Star.
