Much of the news centred around mobile handset manufacturer HTC in the past few months has focused on its ongoing legal stoush with Apple.
Apple kicked the whole row off back in March when it sued HTC over what it perceived were infringements of a number of patents devised for its iPhone by HTC’s Android phone. HTC subsequently counter-sued Apple in May, alleging five infringements by Apple on its patents and calling for a ban on the sales of iPhones, iPads and iPods in the US.
Aside from the legal argy bargy with Apple, in the past 12 months, HTC has released seven products based on the Android and Windows platform. Stuart Finlayson
