Like many other security companies, Trend Micro is making moves into the area of cloud computing. Earlier this year the company launched its SecureCloud offering, which provides multi-layered protection of data in the private or public cloud.

Trend Micro’s annual report concedes with Microsoft entering the security market, competition in the space has intensified. In response to that, Trend Micro is enhancing its technologies to better combat the latest web threats.
