Lenovo’s worldwide market share in 2010 reached an all-time high of 10.2 percent, as it maintained its position as the number one PC vendor in Asia-Pacific.

In key emerging markets, Lenovo grew faster than the markets and gained significant share, while its position in mature markets stabilised, with areas such as Japan, Australia and New Zealand gaining significant share. Revenue for the full fiscal year was up 11 percent, and much of that was due its reliance on Chinese sales, which made up 47 percent of the total.

This year, Lenovo also took part in distributing ThinkPads to all Grade 9 students throughout New South Wales, as part of the Australian government’s Digital Education Revolution.
