InsideView came out of the worst economic downturn in decades unscathed – the company announced a 273 percent increase in revenue in 2009. InsideView’s SalesView product aims to help increase sales and efficiency by crawling through more than 20,000 websites, social networks and databases, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Hoovers, Reuters and SEC filings; to give sales representatives relevant and targeted business intelligence information. InsideView delivers this intelligence natively within CRMs and mobile devices.

The company, founded in 2005, is backed by investors Emergence Capital Partners, Rembrandt Venture Partners and Greenhouse Capital Partners. In March this year, the company raised US$11.5 million in Series B financing, bringing the company’s total funding to $25 million. The new financing is being used for further product development and to bring more customers onboard, reports TechCrunch.

SalesView is available online as well as integrated in CRM systems from salesforce.com, Microsoft, NetSuite, SugarCRM and Oracle. Ulrika Hedquist
