BMC Software jumped on the mobile app bandwagon earlier this year, and made much of its web content — news, podcasts, blogs, white papers and videos — available on the iPhone through iTunes. BMC also announced the worldwide availability of its Cloud Lifecycle management solution that enables enterprises and service providers to successfully deliver efficient cloud computing strategies. BMC recently acquired Neptuny Software, which translates typical datacentre performance metrics, such as CPU utilisation, into the language of business unit readiness.
