CSC achieved first-quarter 2010-11 revenue of US$3.9 billion. Chairman Michael Laphen says: “I am pleased with our operational improvements and the corresponding financial results, particularly the margin and cash-flow performance.
“Our strategic targets of cloud, cyber and health care, as well as network management, are all indicating positive signs. Although our businesses are [affected] by the sluggish recovery and … government spending, we have a robust backlog and I remain optimistic that we will realise meaningful growth beginning in the second half of our fiscal year.”
