The Dimension Data Group supports and manages more than US$12.5 billion of networking equipment around the clock, around the globe through five global service centres, receiving more than 900,000 service requests from 10,000 clients each year.

In the first six months of the year to March 31, 2010, Dimension Data recorded a strong trading performance, with sales of $2.2 billion – up more than 11 percent in reported currency over the prior period. Japanese telecommunications operator NTT Communications has acquired Dimension Data for US$3.26 billion.

NTT says the deal will allow it to offer new IT services across the cloud.
