Microsoft NZ is offering assistance to its partners in the Canterbury region who have been affected by the recent earthquake. Managed partners and enterprise managed customers will receive free priority technical support via phone.
On a case-by-case basis, the partners also get assistance from consulting and premier support staff along with Microsoft Online Services including cloud based Exchange online, SharePoint online, Office Communications online and Office Live meeting.
According to the vendor, this is for partners whose offices are damaged and need a temporary messaging and collaboration suite until they can repair their premises. The offer is for a 90 day period.
Microsoft is also making a donation of $50,000 to the Red Cross Christchurch Earthquake Appeal.
