Rank Group CIO is new TUANZ chairman

Replaces incumbent Chris O’Connell

Pat O’Connell, CIO of Rank Group, a private company with manufacturing interests worldwide owned by Graeme Hart, is the new chairman of the Telecommunications Users Association. He replaces Chris O'Connell, who will remain a member of the TUANZ Board, reports Computerworld NZ.

Pat O’Connell (no relation to Chris), who will take over from the organisation's annual general meeting on 20 April.

His career has also seen him a mainframe systems programmer, a principle consultant with Ernst & Young and CIO for Carter Holt Harvey. He is a member of CIO magazine’s editorial advisory board.
