A fully-owned subsidiary of managed hosting provider Ultra Serve Internet, Rejila uses the Ultra Serve network, datacentres and automation services to create an end-to-end Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) offering. Rejila was launched in May and is said to be Australia’s first IaaS platform.

In June, the company announced a partnership with software-based application traffic management provider Zeus Technology to deliver load-balancing services to the Rejila product suite, in order to scale and meet clients’ changing requirements.

In August Rejila launched a Representational State Transfer HTTP application programming interface (API).

The API, made publicly available in October, enables customers to create a new server to expand their virtual datacentres or control existing cloud servers.

In the year ahead Rejila plans to stay focused on its core cloud services and to expand the company’s network of Platform as a Service and wholesale partners. Rachael Bolton
