In an age where CIOs are being asked to justify every cost and open-source CMS solutions are growing in popularity, CEO Damian Hickey says an important achievement has been in successfully advancing the cause of the open-source, communication-based CMS Joomla in the enterprise sector.

“Jentla is based on an open-source solution, which allows us to draw on the enthusiasm and creativity of hundreds of thousands of developers. As well, we combine that energy and productivity with a clear enterprise architectural focus,” he says.

Jentla allows users to manage up to 1000 sites, whether micro-sites or fully fledged and large scale.

Security updates can be implemented network-wide, all extensions and modules can be managed from the parent interface, data can be set to automatically archive in a central location on the parent site.

As well entire sites can be replicated for development testing, improving web publishing productivity. Jess Meyer
