Large projects require real-time correspondence among many disparate participants. Since 2000, Aconex has offered online document management and control, correspondence and risk management, along with web technology solutions to clients in more than 65 countries. It also provides real-time monitoring using site cams and fully integrated work flow, tender supplier documents and contract administration modules.

CEO Leigh Jasper says the company’s biggest achievement to date has been its first mega project outside Australia — the US$1.8 billion Venetian Macau casino resort.

“This proved to us and the marketplace that we could sell and support large projects outside our home market,” he says.

“Since being implemented on the project in February 2005, 3100 people from 230 organisations in seven countries have used Aconex to store and exchange more than 10 million documents and correspondence items.

“This collaboration would have been near impossible to achieve without our system.” Jess Meyer
