IBM has announced the keynote speakers for its Insight Forums in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch later this month. They include financial journalist Rod Oram, author Paul Callaghan and ex-mayor of Christchurch, Vicki Buck. Callaghan, author of `Wool to Weta: Transforming New Zealand’s Culture and Economy’ will speak in Wellington on Tuesday, August 18 while Oram will deliver his keynote on Thursday, August 20 in Auckland. Buck will speak in Christchurch on Tuesday, August 25.
IBM NZ managing director Jennifer Moxon says Forum attendees are sure to gain invaluable insights and knowledge on how to make smarter business and organisational decisions in today’s market.
“There is no doubt that these are unique and challenging times, but times of challenge also bring with them great possibilities. The Forum agenda includes networking, technical workshops and case study presentations on Telecom, The Ministry of Health, Kiwibank, Land Information New Zealand and Queenstown Lakes District Council.
Technical sessions include cloud computing, business intelligence, virtualisation and business transformation.
