Computerworld , together with the support of EDS and HP, are calling for entries to the Excellence in the Use of ICT in Government. The winner will be announced at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa in Wellington on 28 October, 2009.
The Excellence in the Use of ICT in Government award is another in the series of single, targeted Awards this year by Computerworld.
“Government organisations do not often get the recognition they deserve for innovation and excellence in ICT delivery. This award will help remedy that,” says the editor of Computerworld Rob O’Neill.
The Excellence in the Use of ICT in Government is open to all organisations in central, regional and local government.
Last year’s winner of the Excellence in the Use of ICT in Government in the Computerworld Excellence Awards was the Ministry of Social Development for its “Te Pakoro” (The Storehouse) project. This was an application used by Child Youth and Family staff and managers to keep track of CYFS’ operations.
Entries are now open and submissions must be received by Computerworld by 11 September.
