Are you married? Children? Yes and three children (one boy, two girls).

How long have you been working in ICT? Thirty-five years.
What are your interests outside work and ICT? Family, photography, most sports and home renovation… in that order.
What’s the best thing about working with IT executives? [A] common sense of humour! Patience and acceptance to change.
What is the worst? Reluctance to sharing strategy and future direction.
For customers, are you the technical authority on products or an approachable ‘big picture’ person? Ummm, BIG picture definitely.
If you could invent any IT product for clients, what would it be? Risk mitigation widget.
What is the stupidest question CIOs ask you? How expensive is your software when we have not established a business need.
What is your favourite networking situation? A good restaurant!
Do you prefer to work with people you know or relish the challenge of the new? Both actually, it is always great to work successfully with friends and rewarding to establish new relationships.
What are you passionate about? Successfully meeting customer expectations, growing smart teams of people and having fun doing both.
What are you afraid of? Not much, perhaps things out of my control that are happening in the world that will influence how safely my children will live their lives.
I’d like to offer you a bribe… what couldn’t you resist? Sunshine, a cold drink and not having to turn up at an airport to get it.
What will you do when you retire? Stay away from airports, stay connected to friends, stay close to my children.
