Telecom's Greg Patchell resigns

Greg Patchell, group general manager, technology and shared services, has left the company “to pursue new opportunities”.

Greg Patchell, Telecom’s group general manager, technology and shared services, has left the company “to pursue new opportunities”, says Telecom. CIO understands the nearest to a replacement for Patchell could occupy a retitled position slightly lower on the company hierarchy. No one has yet been named for the post.

Telecom spokesman Mark Watts, however, says only that chief transformation officer; Frank Mount “is reviewing organisational and other options”.

Mount himself has only been in the position for a few weeks and declines to comment on any reorganisation around Patchell’s former post.
