Fronde has partnered with Spanning to provide a cloud based service that will help organisations from the risk of data loss.
The partnership meets the growing demand from Australian and New Zealand businesses for additional protection against data loss as they rapidly adopt software as a service applications, like Google Apps and Salesforce, says James Valentine, chief technology officer at Fronde.
Valentine says Australian and New Zealand companies are shifting their operations to the cloud at a faster rate than anywhere in the world.
“This means greater importance must be placed on offering clients a comprehensive backup and recovery solution to protect their essential corporate data,” says Valentine, in a statement.
“The decision to add Spanning to our product portfolio was an easy one as it offers the only solution capable of providing - at the user level - complete visibility into the backup and recovery process. This additional layer of backup puts the end user in control of their own data recovery, should it ever be needed, empowering them to manage their own data risks while freeing up IT administration teams,” says Valentine.
He says Spanning’s automated, daily backup system provides an extra layer of protection to help organisations mitigate the risk of data loss caused by user error, hackers or system error, and ultimately improve business efficiency.
