New appointments at Telecom NZ

Simon Moutter is chief transformation officer at Telecom; Chris Quin is Gen-i CEO for ANZ.

Telecom New Zealand appoints Simon Moutter to the newly-created role of chief transformation officer, Telecom Group. Chis Quin, former Gen-i general manager New Zealand is now CEO responsible for operations of the ICT services provider across New Zealand and Australia. Moutter has held several key executive roles in Telecom, most recently COO Business and acting COO Telecom Retail since the beginning of the year. Quin has been part of the Telecom team since 1991.

"The creation of this new role on Telecom's executive team of chief transformation officer is reflective of the sheer size and scope of the transformation ahead for Telecom New Zealand. We need to deliver our regulatory Undertakings and build a series of new, world class networks and services," says Telecom chief executive Paul Reynolds in a press statement.

Moutter's key responsibilities will include leading the wide-ranging change programmes that aim to transform the Telecom Group, and cover customer focus, new technologies and productivity benefits..
