Supply chain clampdown

It may now seem clichéd to muse on how the world has changed since 11 September 2001, but when it comes to trading with the US, the impacts are undeniable. And there are more on the way. Export laws are tightening, forcing many businesses to focus on US initiatives demanding total transparency in supply chains.
Since the terrorist attacks, the ‘war on terror’ has moved on to the unlikely front of sea-freight, following the initiation of a series of import programs designed to push back the US’ physical borders.
