Apple on Wednesday entered into a new market segment with the announcement of its first professional-level photography application: Aperture. Once the sole domain of Adobe Systems' Photoshop, Aperture appeals to photographers by simplifying the workflow issues many professionals have encountered over the years.

A recent report by market research firm IDC gives Apple high marks for its efforts in the Enterprise storage and server markets. While Apple is best known for its iPod and Macintosh product lines, IDC analysts say the competition is starting to take interest in what Apple is doing in Enterprise market, as well.
Adobe Systems has announced Creative Suite 2 (CS2), the next generation of the San Jose, Calif.-based company's design environment. The suite includes new versions of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, GoLive and Version Cue, as well as the recently released Acrobat 7.0 Professional. CS2 will also see the introduction of Adobe Bridge, an enhanced and rewritten file browser and Adobe Stock Photos.
