Nominations for the CIO50 open on Monday, 24 September and run until Friday, 30 November, 2018.
To be considered, nominees can either self-nominate or be nominated by a suitable peer via a submission form that can be emailed directly or entered online via the CIO website.
Once nominations are submitted, the CIO50 judging panel will rate each section of the questionnaire in order to determine the final list. These responses will also form the basis of the written profiles of our 50 CIOs, which will be revealed in a breakfast forum on March 26 in Auckland and on March 27, 2019 in Wellington.
The more powerful nominations will be the ones that can provide real-world examples of where technology and digital chiefs are successfully providing value to their organisations, driving innovation, and leading their teams.
This is the first year we are holding CIO50 in New Zealand. The research is held in conjunction with CIO50 in Australia. Together, the executives in these lists will comprise the first batch of CIO100 ANZ leaders.
The word count for responses to questions under each of the two pillars – Business Innovation and Leadership – should be no more than 800 words (1600 words in total for both pillars).
The deadline for submitting nominations is November 30, 2018.

Good luck and thank you for entering.
