Key Accountabilities:
  • Creation of Land Access Notices and other reports (Node Location Reports) that provides appointed contractors the legal right of access to land and to undertake associated activities.
  • Ensure strict compliance to ensuring various searches are conducted and incorporated into PAR's (Planning Assessment Reports) via communication with design and construct workforce. This includes Council, Main Roads, Rail, Environmental, Cultural and Heritage
  • Management of planning applications and third-party consultants
  • Log and escalate issues pertaining to land access matters to the Stakeholder Manager or Design Manager if required.
  • Maintain accurate records of land access and statutory planning requirements
  • Ensure that work is performed in accordance with prescribed work instructions and workforce management standards.
  • Ensure compliance to Duty of Care and a safe and healthy workplace has adhered in accordance with HS&E legislation and Agreements and compliance with EEO principles.
  • Analyse identified risks to proposed designs, including European and Aboriginal heritage, EPBC matters, contaminated sites, Acid Sulphate Soil and risk assessments based on desktop assessment and analysis.
  • Build and maintain relationships with project staff and a diverse range of external stakeholders including the client, local and state government authorities, heritage groups, Aboriginal groups and others.

You will have the following skills and experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve complex/difficult/sensitive situations
  • Demonstrated complex and strategic problem solving skills
  • High levels of written and verbal communication
  • Skill in preparing and communicating strategic recommendations
  • Skills with MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience and or qualifications in Town Planning and or Environmental Management would be highly regarded and or desired
