This role will have preparing applications for approval from power authorities, ensuring they are in compliance with legislative requirements and are submitted to ensure effective and efficient responses from Power Authorities.

Just some of the Key Accountabilities:
  • Preparation and submission of power applications, adhering to authority requirements for the provision of unmetered power supply to FTTN (Fibre to the Node) Cabinets.
  • Ensuring applications meet the needs of the Power Authority to enable effective and timely approvals.
  • Support the analysis of power authority Connection Offer contracts, demonstrating strict attention to detail identifying issues that may impact on the design or risk contract validity.
  • Assist in resolving identified power application issues in consultation with this organisation, the power authority and others.
  • Log and escalate issues pertaining to power matters for resolution.
  • Preparation of documentation to support Land Access applications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with project staff and a diverse range of external stakeholders including the client and power authorities.

You will have the following skills and experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve complex/difficult/sensitive situations
  • Demonstrated complex and strategic problem-solving skills
  • High levels of written and verbal communication
  • Skill in preparing and communicating strategic recommendations
  • Skills with MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience and or qualifications in Town Planning and or Environmental Management would be highly regarded and or desired
