Are you a Technical Business Analyst with fin-tech or financial services experience looking for a new permanent opportunity in Melbourne CBD?

We have the perfect role for you!

Purpose:

  • This significantly large and complex project focuses on delivering technical, risk-based, data-driven decisioning solutions
  • This role is part of a brand new team being established to enhance our real-time Risk Analysis and Business Decision Engine

Experience & Responsibilities (mandatory):
  • Responsible for eliciting, scoping, classifying and defining Business Requirements and Rules into testable and implementable Rules, Functional and Non-Functional Requirements and technical specifications
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to analyse detailed and complex real-time payment scenarios
  • Work with the Developers, Lead Solution Engineer, PM and Architect in an iterative SDLC to provide quality requirements and solution specifications for delivery by developers and QA
  • Understanding of relevant technical design methodologies and frameworks with experience in practical application of them e.g. UML, BPMN 2.0, SDLC and Agile methodologies etc. ideally in a Java product environment
  • Transform the development pipeline into a prioritized set of unambiguous "dev-ready" requirements
  • You will have prior experience in working very closely with a development team (ideally in Java as the backend technology)
  • Previous experience in with Health Claims processing or healthcare environments is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and evolving environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proven expertise in the management, planning, identification, documentation, review, and analysis of business processes and business requirements
  • Demonstrated experience and capability in establishing effective and cooperative working relationships with customers, stakeholders, and colleagues
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills, with an ability and willingness to articulate key findings and messages at all levels
