Hyland concludes successful Summit event series in ANZ
Hyland’s flagship Sydney event was held at the Pullman Quay Grand hotel at Circular Quay, and was attended by over 100 participants. Keynote speeches were delivered by Ed McQuiston, Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer at Hyland, and Foad Fadaghi, Managing Director at high-profile local analyst company Telsyte.
Key themes at the Summit events included meeting consumer expectations and the ever-present discussion around digital transformation, as Ed McQuiston laid out in his speech, with the theme “How do we change planes in flight?” The keynote explored processes around managing the risks associated with digital change while still running a successful business, and how best to manage and fully realise that return on investment.
After the keynote morning sessions, the delegates were split into groups with Hyland offering technical and business streams depending on the delegate's vocation and a special stream for delegates from the healthcare sector. This was followed by presentations from major customers, explaining how OnBase by Hyland has helped them with their digital transformation journeys.
During the Summit series, Hyland made a global announcement regarding their position as a Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Content Services Platforms. Now in its second year, the report is an evolution of the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Content Management, which had consecutively named Hyland as a Leader for seven years. Country Manager for A/NZ, Jamie Atherton, said of the Summit events: “These Summits have really taken hold now, and stand as one of the leading educational tools for this section of our industry. In making the announcement of our Leader position in the Gartner Magic Quadrant, we are very mindful that our status as educators and thought leaders in the broader ICT community is an important part of that. These events bring us closer to our partners and customer community, and reinforce the point that we can solve any manner of complex content services challenges.”
