    Datacraft and Integral Axon have now officially rebranded as Dimension Data, following the acquisition of Integral Axon by Dimension Data’s wholly owned subsidiary Datacraft in October last year.
    According to Robin Hartendorp, the company’s CEO in New Zealand, this announcement marks the shift to a service-led organisation. “Rebranding to Dimension Data reflects our combined ambition to be New Zealand’s leading ICT services business,” he says.

  • CAA adopts Datacraft’s one.govt solution

    CAA has adopted Datacraft’s one.govt solution and the result of the partnership has gone live this month.
    One.govt is a suite of telecommunications deployed by Datacraft to meet the needs of government agencies. It replaces CAA’s existing WAN and telephony solution and includes internet, voice gateway and hosted IPT services based on Cisco UCM infrastructure, as well as a replacement for CAA’s LAN and wireless networks.

  • Integral Axon buy goes unconditional

    Datacraft's purchase of Integral Axon is now unconditional.
    In a statement, Datacraft New Zealand managing director Robin Hartendorp says he is pleased "all conditions had been met and that the offer had been declared wholly unconditional".

  • Datacraft purchase of Integral/Axon confirmed

    Datacraft has confirmed that it has made a conditional offer to buy Integral/Axon Computer Systems. The transaction is expected to be completed by November 1. Neither party will disclose the purchase price.
    It’s being positioned as an acquisition of capability. Datacraft NZ managing director Robin Hartendorp says. Datacraft set out to acquire a company that provided strong competencies in IT infrastructure management to complement Datacraft’s network management focus.

  • Datacraft tight-lipped on Integral/Axon deal rumour

    Industry sources say Datacraft owner Dimension Data may be planning to acquire Integral/Axon, however Datacraft country manager Robin Hartendorp said he was unable to comment on whether any deals were pending.
    One industry member said the acquisition deal under negotiation, and said it could be among the biggest by value in the local IT industry.
